Seriously Responsible Print Ltd was first founded in 2007, a corporate and socially responsible company. The business was passionate about its community, social and environmental impact and was recognised for its excellence by winning three environmental awards within its first year, a national , regional and local award:
- Green Business of the Year 2008, Start-Up Business Awards
- Green Award 2008, Regional Winner with British Chambers of Commerce
- Environmental Practices Award 2008, Buy Local
These values live on at Seriously Responsible Print, Design & Promotion. We care about reducing our impact on the planet by ensuring that everything we supply is sustainable, recycled, organic, fair-trade, ethically sourced, social responsibility and with minimum carbon footprint.
Continuing our commitment to these values, for every order placed, Seriously Responsible will donate 5% of the order value (less VAT) to Dogs on the Street (www.dogsonthestreets.org) who are dedicated to the welfare of dogs belonging to the UK’s homeless community.
A mother and son team run the business. Christina was one of the last apprentices to serve an apprenticeship in Print & Origination, qualifying in 1990, having amassed years of experience and knowledge within the industry. She has set up and run two profitable enterprises and recently undertook a law degree.
James is the graphic designer, creating content and solutions that are not harmful to others or needlessly drain the earth’s resources and delivers purposeful design to reflect your design goals along with your human values to achieve the perfect human design goal.
He does this alongside studying for a Design & Engineering Degree – so in time 3D modelling (CAD) will be a welcome addition to the Seriously Responsible design offering.
Gizmo is the miniature schnauzer and furr-preneur who ensures every day is a joy. He too very much cares about the planet and the environment and has launched his very own website with upcycled dog apparel, recycled toys & accessories, hemp collars & leads and organic grooming products.
He can be found On The Dog Walk modelling his upcycled coats – his favourite is the Boden upcycled – can you spot it?
